We have stayed at this apartment for nine nights and enjoyed it very much. The apartment was tastefully appointed and functional, the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for exploring Salzburg on foot. We liked the view from the windows and the sound of the Dom's bells.
Michaell met us at the door and helped with carrying our heavy suitcases. He gave us all the necessary info about the apartment. He also went the extra mile to supply us with the cable to connect our mobile phone to the (very good) speaker, which was in the apartment. Thanks to that we could have a pleasure to listen to Mozart's music in our apartment.
The private garden looked very nice, but it was rather cold to spend time there.
The washing machine and dryer were very handy.
Overall it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Thank you, Michael!
We would love to come back one day.
The location of the apartment is amazing, right in the heart of the old town, looking up at the fortress from one side and the cathedral from the living room / bedroom windows. The small shady garden to the rear was a real bonus in the hot weather, although it is shared with the other apartments so you may not always have it to yourself. The living area and bedroom were very comfortable and well equipped, but the shower room is tiny and the kitchen is also very small and has just a worktop hob - a small microwave would have been very welcome for self-catering. The owner, Gabi, was very welcoming and accommodating with all our requests. There are a lot of steps so it wouldn't be suitable for everybody but you can't get those views on the ground floor! We would definitely recommend it for a short break for a couple in this beautiful city.
The apartment is amazing and the host, Gaby, is so lovely. Everything you need and so close to all the main spots in Old Town. If you’re thinking of this apartment, don’t hesitate. It’s just wonderful.
We caught a taxi which cost around 9€ but you could get a bus too. Gaby was so helpful in giving us great tips on where to go. Make sure you book into the oldest resultant in Europe, St Peters - it’s just magic!
This apartment is in a fabulous location, it is well equipped even with a nespresso machine ( grocery store down street where u can purchase capsules). There were three of us therefore I slept on the cot provided. Probably would not do that again so I would say apartment is good for two people. It was hot when we were there so we asked for a couple fans which were provided. The bed sheets had hairs on them, but housekeeping came and changed them promptly.
I actually would of given the apartment five stars if my arrival was greeted better. They knew my approx. time I was coming but when I called the son, he was not very welcoming. I didn't mind waiting for him to get to the apartment as they wanted a call from the airport and not the apartment. It wasn't a big deal to me but it was for him to the point of rudeness.
Other than my greeting, this apartment is really good for two people!
