The apartment was large and spacious, with a large balcony off the lounge, and a separate smaller balcony off the smaller bedroom. The kitchen was accessed off the lounge, and had all the appliances that you would require, cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer and washing machine. In addition to this the sink had a smaller tap at the base of the main tap which allows you to use this water for kettle, rather than using bottled water. - It was great to have a normal cup of tea on arrival.
The complex has 3 apartments on 3 floors, and we were on the first floor overlooking the pool to the side of the apartment. However, we used the pool which was closest at the front of our block. We travelled on 15 June 2016 and the pool area was quiet and not overcrowded which was lovely. The pool and surrounding area were kept clean, and their were pommegranites growing on the trees at the side of the pool.
There are two supermarkets just 3 minutes away, but it is about 10-15 minute walk to start of the restaurant bars. We found the price of food and drinks in the bars very reasonable, and ate out at The First and Last Pub, The Curry House - which was excellent , and Chloe's Chinese on the Harbour which was also excellent for a special meal. We also had a lovely meal at Agapinor Restaurant. But there is a huge choice of restaurants and bars, a lot of which have free wifi access.
As these are private apartments, you have to take the sunbeds down to the pool on arrival, but there is a large metal chain and padlock to secure these by the pool , or we locked the sunbeds under the stairwell at the apartment when we had finished using them for the day.
The apartment was cleaned a week after our arrival, along with clean beach towels and towels. I found having a washing machine great, and there was a large clothes dryer on the smaller balcony which was excellent for drying anything.
The apartment has air conditioning unit in lounge and bedroom which was adjustable with a remote control switch which was ideal. There was a television, but limited channels - but we didn't come on holiday to watch tv. There is a dvd player, but we forgot to bring any with us.
All in all a good holiday, however, for those less mobile, I would recommend the use of a more robust mobility scooter to cope with bumpy pavements and high kerbs rather than the basic model.
