I stayed in this hotel with my husband from the 21st until the 28th of November.
Here's what we liked:
- the hotel is very well kept, great design
- view
-restaurant,lobby,reception,bar,pool - all staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to accomodate our needs. Very impressed
- very clean toilets, well kept and they snelt amazing all the time haha
- breakfast was really nice, lots of choices, dinner was also very nice, polite friendly staff, great food.

We'd paid for a side sea view room but because of a big balcony getting in the way and blocking our view,we paid but we didn't get to be honest.

Here's what we didn't like:
- the housekeeper almost always forgot to replace the little towels by the bidet
- the teapots were never washed
- forgot to take the bins out and sometimes she didn't put any bin liners.
- there is no housekeeping supervisor and I advise the hotel to get one because we were really happy with the hotel overall and it's a shame really to be disappointed with the cleaning of the rooms.

Thank you to all the staff who made us feel welcome and enjoy our holiday :) keep up the good work!

Stayed here four nights, with a party of four. All around a fantastic hotel.

Service: Outstanding service, from reception, to the waiters/waitresses, cleaning staff, facilities staff, etc. Very nice and attentive.

Hotel grounds: Clean, beautifully painted, and well kept.

Food: We did the half-board option, so we ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day, and the meals did not disappoint. Delectable - all of it. HUGE selection for breakfast, and a rotation for dinner every night at the buffet - each night was a different theme.

Wi-Fi: Great, everywhere, all over the hotel grounds, from your room to the pool area.

Spa: Though I didn't get a treatment, a friend did and she loved it. The Jacuzzi and indoor pool were both very nice and clean.

Parking: Outside parking and there's a parking garage.

Location: Close to the "boardwalk" that you can walk all the way to the Paphos marina. A very pleasant walk along the beach. Centrally located. Five minute walk to the Tombs of the Kings.

I'm sure there are other areas to comment on, but they would all be rated an excellent. Really no faults with the hotel. Was particularly impressed with the birthday cake that was brought to my room by the hotel staff - wow, fantastic!

This is a beautiful roman shaped style of hotel Netley hidden away from the busy kings highway of paphos.
The hotel is close to the King's mall, the tomb of the Kings museum, and all needed amenities with in a few steps away.
The Hotel boasts a typical roman forum style of a garden, with pools neetly kept and it's extremely clean.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with some views over the sea, others over the pool and magnificent gardens.
The private beach offers tranquility and privacy and a wooden pier for either fishing or descent to the sea below your feet, the food and beverage outlets are second to none, and all the amenities required from a five star resort and hotel are available at your fingertips.
Truly a jewel in the Crown.
Highly recommended.

Stayed here on a number of occasions whilst on business and also with the family on holiday. The rooms are very comfortable and luxurious with quality décor and marble bathrooms. There are numerous restaurants to choose from within the hotel all offering different cuisine; all superb.
The breakfast is an experience and is buffet style with many different options to choose and not forgetting Marios the Chef who is larger than life and loudly wishes everyone a GOOD MORNING; I can hear him now...
I think a return visit is long overdue.

Room tip: All good, never been disappointed

If you want to find this hotel in the darkness you need to have a good GPS navigation System. The name of the hotel is not lighted and only a gravure inside the gate can show you that you have reached the hotel.
Then you have to carry your baggage up the stairs into the hotel.
There you will get a porter who will bring it to your room.
A sweet welcome drink was offered which we have refugee.
The Lobby was decorated for Christmas and good looking.
The room with seaview was found after a long distance. There are no signs which will show you the way to the lifts or reception.
The room was badly soundproofed. So you can hear your neighbours and listen to their TV-PROGRAM.
Then have a drink at the pool bar out of plastic glasses. Do not forget that you stay in a 5 Star - hotel.
In the evening we took our dinner from the Buffet. Out of 3 days the quality one day was okay. 2 days we were not satisfied. This days the taste was like in a business canteen.
First evening we needed to wait more than 10 minutes to wait for the wine list or list of drinks. After I went to the friendly caring lady who has guided us to a free table she has cared about a waiter who then has asked us for our orders. He was carrying the wine list under his arms. I have informed him that first I need to have a look at the list and then I am able t o make a decision.
While checking the wine list I have ordered a vintage wine. The wine was served without saying one word that the ordered wine was 5 (!!) years younger than offered.
Then I made a new order and the result was the same.
After my complaint we have got told that the wine list was not up to date.
During the stay we found out that the offered wines can be up to 6 years younger than offered.
In general the staff in the restaurant is not well organized. There are plenty of waiters who take away your used empty plates. But there is not enough staff to care about orders and the bill.
Do not come late. Otherwise it will happen that you are sitting and drinking your bottle of wine and all the staff at 10:00 p.m. will removed the blankets from the table. The impression is that you are disturbing the staff because they want to finish their work.
The next day we got offered Sangria as an apperitiv. The staff is trying to sell drinks.
The isolation of the walls is as good as the thin quality of the 2 layer toilet paper.
The ambiance of the room is fulfilling the expectations of a 3 Star hotel. The TV is very small.
At breakfast several birds will join your breakfast and they are sitting on plates and Bowle to pick up your food
The reason is that there are plenty of open doors to the outside terrace. Of course the management is not caring about this serious health problem.
While doing our check out I was outomatically charged with a donation of 2 € for a cancer Organisation. Of course I did not got informed before.
Upon arrival you will receive a plate with fruits and a bottle of water.
I cannot recommend this hotel.

Dear Tripadvisor Member AlsterHamburg

We would like to thank you for your recent visit to the Elysium and for your detailed review.
We are however quite surprised that we have not met your entire expectations since our facilities, services and courteous staff have proven to be accommodating to all our patrons requests.
However, we would like to comment the following;
All drinks served around the swimming pool grounds are served in plastic glasses in order to comply with the health and safety regulations. Broken glasses might cause injuries to the guests who are using the swimming pool. Since we do not want to expose our guests to any possible accidents we serve the drinks in plastic glasses.
In regards to your harsh comments that ‘the management is not caring about this serious health problem from the birds’ we would like to remind you that we have shown you during your stay the sample window we have made in order to screen the Lemonia Terrace and prevent birds entering the restaurant area. This job is now in progress and will be completed in the next couple of days.

Thank you

Best regards
