The hotel is located in the unspoilt nature of the Akamas peninsula, with the crystal clear waters of the blue lagoon and a quiet golden beach. The hotel blends in perfectly with its surroundings, is tastefully and luxuriously decorated and the staff (from the concierge at the reception to the beach boys down in the hotel's private beach) went over and above in being helpful and making our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was very clean and spacious. We had one of the best experiences in a hotel so far. We will be back for sure!

We were last here in April for 10 days and I wrote the longest review I'd ever written on TA praising this Hotel in every way and calling it 'The Best' and my favourite hotel in the world (and I've been to many).

I am very glad to report that my opinion remains the same:
We arrived late on a Friday night and didn't bother unpacking but headed straight to the bar where we were greeted by Brigitta who shrieked and said "Welcome back!" This continued the next day at breakfast, the pool bar and so on - Even Avram, the manager of all sun beds, towels and parasols greeted us like an old friend and took us immediately to our 'usual' bed!

During our stay in April, the main pool was a little cold and dining outdoors in the evening was a non-starter - Much too chilly. This time, the reverse was true and this made the stay even better (If this is possible).

As previously said, everything about this hotel is superb but, for us, the staff and the way they are trained takes it up another level. It was nearing the end of a long season and they showed absolutely no signs of wilting!
(A special mention should go to Takis and his team - First Class!)
You run a great ship Captain Wurst!

We will be back in April.

The hotel's location is hands down the best on the island, in the unspoilt nature of the Akamas peninsula, with the crystal clear waters of the blue lagoon and a quiet golden beach. The hotel blends in perfectly with its surroundings, is tastefully and luxuriously decorated and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The delectable flavours of the Anassa's international cuisine are absolutely mouth-watering. We so enjoyed taking our meals in the olive grove under the stars. It was one of our most memorable holidays ever.

So Cyprus may not be long haul but dragging three children from door to door is still pretty exhausting, on arrival at the Anassa wasn't a member of staff to welcome us for ten minutes. All we wanted to do was be welcomed with a smile and shown the way to the room.

Anyhow maybe we were tired and grumpy, headed for the welcome cookies; damn they were covered in ants! Not a few, or even a dozen but maybe a hundred of the little marching buggers!

Views from the room were lovely so we ordered
Room service, food was average, had gone cold by the time they delivered it oh and the lobster was raw. Beats me how you can get that so wrong

The holiday didn't get much better, staff for grumpy, beach was horrid although the beach staff were very attentive.

One week here and I was chuffed to be heading home.

Weather was amazing!

We stayed in Anassa for the second time. Excellent food, nice beach, possibility of water sports. Very nice and helpfull staff. Only one place which made me angry was the restaurant close to the pool the Pellagos. They charged us twice for some food, it was the same this year like one year ago. The hotel suits are very nice but be carefull not to stay on the second floor on the left side from the reception where are the one bedroom suites ocean view . It was area mainly for families with the kids and you can hear nearly everything because of bad acustic of the wall ( closing the wardrobe, cleanng....). Amfora restaurant is the best for our familly, excelent food. If you are going here not to forget to reserve in advance the cypriot night in the hotel and the beach barbecue dinner. The only thing is that this hotel has very high prices for everything and a lot of complain that you have only one bottle for free for whole day. It should be because of prices for everything complimentary. Thanks a lot.
