Four of us visited this little gem of a restaurant. We ordered the hot trout as a starter, which was delicious. Others had mussels, sirloin steak and two chicken meals which were classed in our option,as fine dining. The view from our table was beautiful and the restaurant soon filled up with happy diners. John and Aris always welcome their diners and the service is friendly and efficient. This venue is our first choice for fine food but you do need to book for a weekend sitting. We will be back. Thank you for a lovely meal and experience. My favourite place!

You have enough heat, salted waters and heavy local roses? Your Toscana trained liver now demands something delicate like Rose et Oro by Minuty? But you yet do not believe that such orange wines exist in Cyprus? Then put yourself and other family belongings into a jeep and... Start your way into Troodos mountains towards Kakoupetria village. While driving there try to behaive, i.e., don't stop at numerous commercial wineries like Olympus - you find their stuff in any road kiosk, and you will be rewarded by fantastic orange-rose Eteny by... (my secret, as vintage is limited), but Provence now has a good competitor... So, what is next after such exclusive digestion or pre-party? Only Molos! Why? It is located on nice green rock with small stream outside quite populated and crowded village, so you can enjoy the sound of running waters. Food? Local mezes and delicacies are indeed great, but small size rainbow trout, though farmed, is the queen... Service? Good and attentive, but a bit villageous, but so what - you are in the mountains. Wines? Those are as everywhere... And this is my typical challenge! With so many great boutique wineries around (I can name at least 3) producing top class white, rose and red sipages, you will still struggle with a wine list. Otherwise, it was a nice day.

You might think that you are on the slope of some Mid European mountain. You hear and see the little stream and a few hundreds years old mill. But no, you are in Cyprus. On the foundation of the old mill, a family member has build a hotel - 5 stores - there is an elevator, on the top floor on the terasse, a restaurant. Breath taking view, On the card, various local greek-cypriot traditional dishes. The star of the card - locally grown trout. The best I ever tasted. You can order it regular or smoked, grilled or baked. The recepy and the taste have not been changed for years. My dinning partner who visited the place some 10 years ago and was the one who took me to the restaurant wittnessed that the quality, taste and the hospitality remained as he remembered. If you are lucky you can still meet the original owner and chat with him. Highly recommended.

As everyone says: the trout is indeed delicious. Good atmosphere in the restaurant. In particular on Saturday, when we had live music.

Great view, relaxing and food is good. Service fast, try the trout and mussels. If you sit outside then you enjoy the view, if inside try to sit by the fireplace for ambiance. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking can be difficult
