Visited this hotel Oct 2015
Booked the Bed & Breakfast Option and was not disappointed.
the breakfast was very good, with English, or continental breakfast, and all the cheeses, cold meats and pastries you could want.
Didn't have any main meals so cannot comment on these.
The room was a non sea view at rear of the hotel, outlook was many rooftops, but we didn't come for the view.
we were out most days so the facilities were fine for us.
the pool outdoors was over the main road which offered a pool, bar and sun terrace.
On level 8 of the Preluna Towers which is connected to the hotel, was a sun terrace which was ideal for a quiet lazy sun bathe, with a small Jacuzzi to cool off in.
level 13 was another roof terrace bar which had musical entertainment most nights
overall, was ideal for our needs.

Room Tip: If you are looking for all mod cons then is not for you. hotel built in 1969, so a bit dated, but this is not a negative on this hotel.

Be warned - they advertise the premises are air-conditioned when the a/c is only turned on from 7.00 pm till midnight!!! It took over six hours to have a puddle of water cleaned up in the bar area despite repeated requests as we sat watching people almost skid even when we were warning them of the danger. Staff were brilliant but quite obviously not happy with management as most of the guests came to realise. Breakfast staff nothing short of dismal - one waitress ORDERED one couple NOT to sit at the table they'd selected until she'd polished it up!! Also four computers on display with advertised Wi-Fi but the staff advised only one of them works - if you can get on it that is!! Too many other nice places to stay in Malta without putting up with that kind of treatment. Must say though that, from a tourist's point of view, location is good.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the water front should be requested with a balcony so you can breath!

The spa and gym are good however the rooms are shabby and require renovation. The service is poor it took me three trips to reception to get the room card to work and there was a long queue to check out. The breakfast area is not big enough for the number of guests.

if you are going to malta you must try this hotel. the staff are a credit to the hotel, they are very helpful and always have time for you unlike some hotels I have stayed in. the location of the hotel is central for everything .the harbour is a five minute walk away so quite easy to catch the ferry to Valletta.
