We booked the place based on the nice images available on Tripadvisor but certain things were a bit "out of date" and we expected a bit "more". There was no matches for the gas oven when we arrived. We arrived late and had to ask a neighbour to borrow a lighter because we're non smokers. A set of matches left behind might be a nice gesture, especially if you arrive late and have no car yet. We realised that the hotel was quite far away from the main street, so we rented a car the next day. The shower & bath is a bit "old" and the doors from the shower a bit hard to handle, the sofa looked a bit discolored and worn. The location is super nice, it just felt it needed a bit of TLC to spruce up the place a bit and give it a bit more "clean and fresh" look. One of the ventilators wasn't working but there was a second one which did work. Also it would be good to leave instructions for the boiler. Not everyone is used to having to "heat up" a boiler for hot water, so we had to figure that out ie the fact that we needed to flick the switch for the boiler and let it warm up for an hour for hot water. It might be good to have a little "welcome sheet" to have a couple of bits explained so that guests staying there have an easier time getting used to. We would definitely recommend the place, it's not "bad" but just needs a little TLC in our view to reveal its full beauty because the views are stunning.
