The owner is very responsible and helpful. Eka cooks great meals and will help you with everything. The view from balcony is beautiful and rooms are quite good. I recommend Eka's Guesthouse to everyone.

Eka was very welcoming and hospitable. We arrived late in Mestia and searched for a guesthouse. Because of the good reviews here we chose Eka's and were not disappointed.

After a long journey we arrived at about 11pm and Eka quickly prepared some tasty dinner for us.

The good:
- very good food. Ofcourse no fancy hotel dinner but very very tasty.
- amazing view from the balcony
- clean room, towels and sheets
- very hospitable and friendly people
- support with finding a driver
- speaks very good english (as far as I experienced, pretty rare around Georgia)

Could be better:
- It is a bit cold in the room, but a heater was provided
- you have to leave the room to get to the bathroom

Summary:
Great time there, beautiful place and people, good food, worth every single Lari

We loved Eka's Guesthouse. Aga and the family are lovely and our chats were interesting and informative, the food (cooked by Grandma) is delicious and plentiful, the balcony is a great place to sit and chat and has gorgeous views (there is an open area for sunny days, and an enclosed area for cold nights), the rooms are huge and the duvets thick and warm. Mestia is a lovely town - we stayed 5 nights and loved exploring the town and nearby walks. On our last day, Aga's cousin Giorgio took us to other sights in his Russian jeep - wonderful! We checked out other guesthouses in the town and this one won hands down.

We stayed there for 3 nights in October 2014. Eka and her family was very warm, giving us super-delicious local food for breakfast and dinner. Her brother, Georgi took us for some offroad trips to the mountains where we could see old village and church ruins (not mentioned anywhere). Also, the scenery is beautiful.

We had a positive experience here. Friendly atmosphere, gorgeous view and comfortable rooms are some of the advantages of this place. True, the bathroom is shared with other guests and the wifi is a little unstable but those kind of things are really luxuries around Mestia.
