We stayed a far too brief 2 nights and can,t wait to go back. The head keepers cottage was a wonderfully appointed historical home with views that make you never want to leave bed except that the magnificent beaches and walks draw you out. This place stands way above the many other places we have stayed for quality, value, natural beauty and historical significance.
It is well run, the kids loved the large flat screen TV and comfy lounges, when we could get them to come inside at all! You will Love it.

We had a long weekend here in August 2011, Staff brilliant and very helpful. The cottage was truly lovely.Kitchen amazing all mod cons. Bedrooms really nice, we had the four poster with amazing views over looking the beach.
We were so lucky because not only did we experience a full moon which was amazing as it lit up the whole bedroom, We experienced storms, totally awesome.
The beach below is so beautiful, and on an early morning walk we saw a dngo.
Whale watching was fantastic the whales came so close to the rocks. To top it all we went up to the lighthouse at dusk had a picnic drank wine and witnessed bats attracted to the light from the lighthouse.
The highlight though was lying on the grass near to the headstone and we saw.... A shooting star I mean how fabulous was that!
Sugarloaf point light house was an amazing experience highly recommended!

Room Tip: Grab the room with the four poster bed in it trust me, it has the most amazing views

We spent a wonderful long weekend at the Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse last month. The weather was great, the beaches clean, accommodation was modern and very comfortable.

To go upto the lighthouse at night was a stunning experience.

The staff were helpful and made the weekend a very easy event.

We are delighted to know you enjoyed your stay John. Yes, Seal Rocks is a beautifully pristine spot and has remained untouched over time. The lighthouse beams, contrasting against the night sky, are truly amazing and have to be seen to be believed.

Love, love, loved our annual Girls' Weekend stay at Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse! The cottage was cosy for the cool winter's nights and the day's proved to be too perfect to stay out of the water! The views are spectacular and the lighthouse is gorgeous! Make sure you visit the lighthouse at dark! It's an experience! Can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for a wonderful break, Terry, Judy and Linda :)

Never before have I stayed in such a unique location! Seal Rocks is as close as you can get to an untouched paradise. An easy three hour drive was all it took to leave behind the city hustle and bustle and reach Seal Rocks’ pristine beaches.
The lighthouse cottages are perched on the headland overlooking the aptly named ‘lighthouse beach’ which is renown amongst locals for its great surf.
The headkeeper’s cottage easily housed us (my wife and four children) in its three bedrooms...the main bedroom featured a grand four poster bed and amazing views! The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to suggest some activities for us to enjoy.
We spent the days surfing, kayaking, bushwalking, sunbaking and exploring the surrounding coastal villages. At night we cooked our own bbq and ate al fresco overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was serene...the only sounds that disturbed us was the ‘wooshing’ sounds of the passing whales as they took a breath!
My family and I spent a fantastic week at Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse Cottages, and we'll defiantly be returning!
