We came here twice during our stay in Iceland since Sundhollin was only a five minute walk from our hotel and we enjoyed the hot pools. It was very relaxing and inexpensive at ~$10 USD. Just bring your own towel and swimsuit so you don't have to pay extra. They do have soap, but bring your own shampoo/conditioner if you prefer a particular kind. There is a decent size area with a bunch of shower heads and only one shower stall with doors. This place also provides small plastic bags for your wet items. Their swimsuit dryer is efficient. Only 8 seconds of using it, and your swimsuit is practically dry.

For the price, this is well worth the time. Hang out with locals at a neighborhood hot spring bath. Family friendly and all ages and types of people were there. Exquisitely clean. Indoor and outdoor facilities. Naked shower isn't a big deal- everyone makes an effort to keep their eyes to themselves and there are male and female facilities. Lockers with a key, hair dryers, swimsuit extractor, and lovely rental towels. For less than $25 two of us spent all afternoon there and rented towels. Avoided huge expense, bus ride and tourists at the overpriced Blue Lagoon.

Once you get over the fact that in Britain we prefer to hide our modesty by getting changed in cubicles and then going about our business. I’m iceland when going into any spa or swimming baths you first go into the male or female dressing rooms, strip off completely naked, have a shower and then get your swim suit on. This was to say the least the weirdest experience of my life being a born and bred Brit. However, everything after is less heart pounding and more relaxing there is a number of indoor and outdoor pools all at different temperatures which you can just relax in or swim if you chose. Great for children they have pool noodles and toys out with a water feature outside which will keep them entertained. Would recommend to everyone! It was cheep for the experience at around £10 each which was fab too.

We went here basically because we couldn't afford the Blue Lagoon and I'm so glad we did. It felt like an actual Icelandic experience rather than a tourist trap and 90% of the people in the pool were Icelanders. Its a good price at about £7 each for as long as you want. There is an indoor lane pool, heated but feels cool if you go in the hot tubs first, 2 roof hot tubs, one 39 degrees and one 42 degrees. Downstairs there is another lane pool, a children's pool (which is actually the nicest temp!) another 39 pool and a cold pool. It is very clean and well looked after. You do have to shower naked but honestly no-one there cares what you look like!

The oldest HotPot of Reykjavik in a new, attractive face. Old indoor-swimming pool for competition, outdoor-swimming pool and tree phantastic hotpots outdoor with 38 and 40 degree. Steam bath and cold Bassin outdoor.
