Very charming hotel

Stayed for one night and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. I did not realize the spa required an extra fee and because it was slow during my stay, they allowed me access at no extra charge!

Breakfast was very high quality for a hotel... and the overall charm of the building was lovely.

Specific shout out to Bora at the front desk for being extremely warm, friendly, funny and hospitable. She helped me with travel and airport logistics after my stay and hope she gets a raise soon!

The Best Hotel in Reykjavík!!

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary trip/bucket list trip. I truly do not have enough kind words to say about it because our stay was so amazing! The staff was so helpful and gave us so many amazing recommendations from food to activities! We came with a pretty open itinerary and with the help of the staff recommendations we always had something exciting to do and got to see so much of the beautiful city of Reykjavík! I highly recommend staying here as you won’t regret it!

Just what we were looking for

Helpful, friendly staff with a location that was perfect for accessing the city harbour district by foot and minutes walk from the trips pick-up point.

Its the staff that make it!

I would like to personally thank Bora at Pingholt Center Hotel for her amazing customer service and willingness to go above and beyond her front desk duties. She made our stay special - its not often you get someone so warm and friendly that will do whatever you need for a pleasurable stay - truely an asset to the hotel!

Best hotel stay I've had in Northern Europe

The staff at Thingholt helped me out of an unfortunate experience and replaced it with an experience that was impeccable. So friendly and helpful and the hotel itself has everything you can expect. I wish every hotel was like this!

The spa is very relaxing and midweek you might have it all to yourself. I love when breakfast is included too and the food selections were great too.
