First just admired this stunning church from outside, but later went inside and up to the tower. It costs 1000 kr to get up there but the 360 degrees view is really worth it.

This stunningly designed church dominates the city. It’s sharp line catches the morning and evening light. Loved the basalt like concrete columns on the facade. Inside it has a restful simplicity

one of our first stop when we arrived in Iceland. Nice iconic landmark building. the organ inside the church is pretty impressive. you had to pay to go to the top of the church to see the view of town though. great as a pit stop when touring around the city. 5 min from the main street

Worth popping in for a look. The architecture is stunning both inside and outside. We didn't have time to travel to the top as there were queues and we were on a tight timeframe.

This concrete cathedral has a design out of the ordinary. It feels like they made is as strong as a tank to face the outrageous wind that Reykjavik has to deal with. The pay elevator is well worth it as it gives a unique point of view on the capital.
