Great upscale hotel. Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Great bar. Super clean and quite hotel.
I regret we could not stay longer. We never got to eat at the hotel or enjoy the spa. Staff could not have been better to us. The desk clerk at our departure from Rome went over and beyond to help us. The bartender from Greece was super nice and friendly. We enjoyed the international staff.

I was only in Reykjavik for half a day, a layover on my way from Seattle to London. Hotel Saga was perfect. It's in a great location close to city center. The room was clean and modern, and the staff was helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent rooms, excellent location. The hotel is ideally located in the Middle of Reykjavik, within short walking distance of most of Reykjavík's key sites, and within 10 minutes walk of the main bus terminal too, which means if you don't have too much baggage to carry you can take the bus and save a lot on taxi's getting to and from the airport. The rooms are very nice, well equipped (complimentary coffee machine, iron & ironing board, etc) well soundproofed, and well-light proofed with solid curtains given that it doesn't get very dark through the night in summer, and the breakfast food was an excellent section - including to my taste, lots of fresh fruit, cheese, salmon, and pastries.

The hotel has a perfect location. Not too close to the busy area, but an easy walk to everything. The bus stop is right across the street, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. We got in very early, so they held onto our luggage while we toured the city a little. Each and every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful, especially each of the front desk staff. They helped us confirm our tours and transportation for each day.
We did not have any issues with our room, besides the bed being a little uncomfortable (2 twin beds pushed together with separate mattress toppers created a small gap). The room was clean, well stocked, and upscale. There were touch controls for the lights and A/C.
Breakfast was included with our stay, which was a full buffet. I was amazed at all the food they prepared. We will definitely stay again on our next trip!
