Great hotel in Reykjavik

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 25 Mar 2024
We did a private tour in Iceland with Iceland Encounters. They assigned us to this hotel for when we arrived and when we departed Iceland. We loved this place. The breakfast was quite good (included) and it's in a great location. I rated the "value" as average only because we paid for this hotel as part of our overall tour price, so I have no idea what it normally costs.

A great hotel with excellent amenities. Breakfast was excellent. Service from staff at reception and in the bar and restaurant was good too. the location is central and meant all the sites of the city were within walking distance.

The location is at the best place in downtown Reykjavík. The restaurant was really nice. The service was really good. When we came the receptionist was very friendly and the room we good was clean and spotless.

Gorgeous hotel, amazing location, would stay again, hotel is central to everything, clean & tidy rooms, massive beds and so comfortable, showers were lovely, breakfast included and the breakfast is lovely its hot food, bacon, sausages etc and fruit, pastries, pancakes food was gorgeous! Staff are lovely, really friendly and always willing to help, happy hour at the bar between 4-6 drinks are cheap considering the prices in Iceland, absolutely loved this hotel and can’t wait to stay again!

Stayed for bed and breakfast for 3 nights. Slept better here than I do at home according to my watch! The rooms were beautifully clean and well furnished, and the hotel is right outside a bus stop that all of the trips stop at which made it remarkably easy. It’s also just down the road from a pond that makes a nice walk and 5 minutes walk from the seafront. Breakfast was also good, the only thing is that it wasn’t labeled for allergens, but the staff were able to help.

Really nice clean, modern and well run hotel. We had a Deluxe Room which had a huge bed and nice big bathroom with a shower and a bath. The hotel was quiet and we both slept well. Breakfast was good and I had the sauna and steam room to myself twice. The gym is tiny but my husband used it and it had all the cardio equipment that he needed to himself so no complaints. Hotel is ideally situated just on the border of the main streets, a 5 minute walk to the shops and bars. I would definitely stay here again.
