The room had everything we needed including a refrigerator. It was a bit cramped, though, because of a third bed by the window which we did not need. The beds were firm and very comfortable. And the breakfast room and buffe was excellent.

Dear Linda,

Thank you so much for your review and for your stay.

Yes, our Standard rooms are indeed small but fully equipped. We do have Superior rooms if you prefer larger rooms.

We are delighted to know that you liked the firm beds and the complimentary breakfast.
Hope to see you again soon!

Kind regards,
Hotel Cabin team

Stayed there on the last night of a school trip to Iceland to be closer to the airport. After reading seemingly poor reviews on the way to our destination me and my peers prepared for the worst. When in the city we ate food so we would not starve at diner and would not be obliged to eat at 3.30am before we left to return home. To our surprise me and two other class mates were upgraded to a superior room which was much more pleasant then what our other group members had. The TV was small but we didn't use it much. The beds were comfortable and I managed to get some rest for the journey ahead. Over all the food was poor but edible. Lots of bread and jam. That's all I remember from my short stay there.

Room Tip: Select a superior room much more clean

Dear Ruby C,

Thank you for your review and for your stay.
We are glad to mention that we have now a new Evesham 1000 pocket spring mattress in all our Superior with a view rooms, ensuring excellent support. It's nice to know that you liked the upgrade and your comfortable bed :)

We are sorry if the food did not meet your expectations. We try to offer something for everyone at breakfast and it is always included in the price.

Hope you otherwise enjoyed you holiday in Iceland and we look forward welcoming you back again.

Kind regards,
Hotel Cabin team

Hotel room and shower are extremely small but the service and location of the hotel was awesome. Free breakfast is included with hotel stay and most tour companies pickup at hotel. Staff is friendly and courteous!

The guest rooms are so small that you cannot put your luggage anywhere. Two people in a room is almost impossible. Smoking balcony is close to every room so it smells like smoke everywhere. Bathrooms are small and difficult to maneuver. Not the best location to walk to anything much.

This hotel is quite nice for its price. The rooms are not massive but they are good enough space considering most days are spent out of the hotel, the bathroom is an ok size as well. The staff are very helpful as well and the cleaners do a good job. The food is alright; however I didn’t enjoy all the meals. If you want a nice, cheap hotel close to the city centre then I would recommend this hotel.
