We only stayed overnight and left before breakfast. The actual room was very nice but the bathroom was very tiny and not the same standard as the rest of the room. The bathroom was well below what we expected from a junior suite

Comfortable stay in the center of Reykjavik. Everything is a walking distance. Great breakfasts ( included), offers verity of bread, cheese, pastries, herring, eggs, ham, bacon, juices, coffee etc. Suit 304 on the 3rd floor is spacious and quit, good for a family of 3. Sleeping sofa and king size bed are comfortable. Staff is professional. Hotel is well decorated and looks authentic.

My wife and I were planning to be in Reykjavik for 3 nights before beginning our travels through Iceland and wanted a hotel close enough to the city center and harbor to walk but not close enough to hear the noise. We booked a Jr. Suite on the backside of the hotel 11 months prior to our vacation and were pleased to find that we were given what we requested. We were in room 205 which did not have much of a view but it worked well for us. The bed was large and comfortable, we heard no noise and we slept great. It had 2 TVs because of a sleeper sofa in the extended space. There was even a 2nd bathroom that just contained a large bathtub which would be great for kids. The main bathroom had a nice shower with very good water pressure. The staff was always very pleasant and helpful.

This hotel has an aura of glorious past - a strange mixture of old-fashioned luxury and modernity. The rooms are comfortable, service courteous and friendly. The breakfast was great and the location is good: a comfortable walking distance to city centre.

Room Tip: They have spacy suits - worth the buck. In general, the area is quiet so it does not matter which room you take.

Hotel was a delightful place to stay with a comfortable room and delicious breakfast. It is a great location to see the city sights. Staff was delightful and very helpful answering our questions and making suggestions. We appreciated that parking was available.
