Rooms are extra small and mattresses extra uncomfortable. The locks of the doors of each room do not work properly and the noice is unbearable. First place in a 9 day trip with deficient curtains (4am in summer sun goes up). The bathrooms smell of rotten egg as if you were cooking a 4 people omellete with eggs from the age of the Romans. Unless u are travelling with a low budget or been trekking 4 volcanoes in a row wouldnt recommend it. Breakfast was ok and coffee was horrible.

our room had no business sleeping 4 people, it was incredibly small. The bathrooms were very clean and the guesthouse location is excellent. We had a good night sleep because our fellow travelers in the house were quiet:) The breakfast was awesome!!!! Staff was pleasant.

Very nice B&B, with great breakfast and lovely room. Just a little bit little.

There is also a washing machine very useful during a long trip. Use it ;)

We recommend this B&B well located in husavik just 300 mt from the center.

Judging by other reviews, there are very different rooms in this guesthouse but we got the room that was so small that we could not even open our suitcases properly. In the entire house there are only 2 bathrooms and they happened to be next to our room so all night we heard people walking, opening and closing doors. You can practically listen to all the conversations in the corridor. It also smelled weird. We didn't feel comfortable at all and decided to cancel the second night and go back to Akureyri (one hour away) where we got a great studio apartment for only 5 euro more.. Husavik does not have many accommodation options and all the places were full. Maybe this is why the price was definitely too high for what was offered.
I am usually not very picky but this time I really felt I could not stay there for another night.

Very basic rooms with two shared bathrooms. Bad smell all around. For check-in must go to Husavik Cape Hotel, not far away, where it is also served the breakfast buffet, quite poor. We think that with a few euro more you can find a a better accomodation in the surroundings. We expected something more.
We do not recommend it.
