The room was clean and host are ok. Otherwise the breakfast is a little bit short (no scrubble eggs per exemple) for the price. Very expensive for a room without bathroom. 30-40% off might be right.
The guesthouse is well based in the city. Some gonds restaurants just around

This is a very comfortable guesthouse with a bright and welcoming breakfast room and fresh waffles at breakfast time. The beds are comfortable. The wifi is good. The location is great, near restaurants and the water.

for the cost but, that's quite typical for Iceland. Breakfast was the standard Icelandic buffet with some nice added touches like waffles and fresh fruit. Owner very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

The guesthouse had nice sized, comfortable rooms with shared baths but it was about $55 more per night than the other guesthouses we have stayed in the last 15 days. The breakfast was typical Icelandic guesthouse food: bread, ham, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, hard boiled egg, cold cereal, skyr, coffee and orange juice.

The owner sat down with us for 45 minutes and gave us some great suggestions on things to do the next day.
She was a wealth of information.

Lovely place smack dab in the middle of Hofn. A stone's throw away from the langoustine restaurants. Hostess open and friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had waffles (always a winner). Only issue is that it's expensive for what it is- esp as you have to share bathrooms.
