The gardens are quite small, but nicely laid out, and the number of flowers blooming was astonishing, as were the huge numbers of bees. Free entry, too, which is wonderful, considering how everything else in Iceland costs several arms and legs. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather during our visit, which was warm and sunny, which of course helps, but I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody visiting Akureyri.
