Spent a wonderful 6 night break at the end of May 2017. Met promptly by the property agent, Melinda, who explained everything. The apartment itself has everything you need. The jewel in the crown is the roof terrace. Accessed by a spiral staircase it gives spectacular views over the nearby Nature Reserve and beyond to Alicante. Good spot to watch the planes taking off from the Airport but not noisy. Getting to noise, it was as if I was deaf. It was such a quiet area. Maybe that was the time of the year but it was so peaceful. Beach is maybe a 15-20 minute walk but who rushes when on holiday. Local bars and eating places are a slow 10 minute walk away. Larger supermarkets or the GA Centre maybe a longer walk or short 5 minute drive. I have previously stayed up the hill in Altomar 1 but would highly recommend this apartment in Mediterraneo 3. Was sad to leave. Hope to return someday soon.
Lovely apartment overlooking a couple of fabulously maintained swimming pools in a block, very quiet as mostly Spanish residents who live here all year round. All the necessary equipment is supplied for a comfortable stay, including good selection of books, games and tennis rackets and balls for the court. Air conditioning works a treat once you get used to it and good selection of English channels available. The spiral staircase to the roof terrace is a challenge any decent mountaineer would be proud to tackle, but the rewards are spectacular, plenty of room in your own "private oven"! 10 minute walk to plenty of bars and restaurants, and 20 minutes to GA Centre with 2 good supermarkets and bars again. The local Tourist Train does a full circuit once an hour, hop on and off when you want for €3, would recommend this apartment. Thanks to all at Alicante holiday villas for the help and meet and greet.
