We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at Casa Bell, this was our 2nd stay here and it was still as amazing as it was the first time we went.
The weather was soooo HOT, thank goodness for the fantastic pool to cool off in and the air conditioning when we went to bed.
Contact with Paula was great, we were able to check in early due to there being no cross over with other guests, this was fab as it meant we didn't have to hang around waiting with our suitcases until 3pm.
The lovely Martin met us, got us settled in and then the holiday started.
We lazed around the pool all day and ate out at masa square almost every night, there were singers on up there on around 5 nights, which was great entertainment.
A new restaurant has opened since we were last there, la piazza Italian, I highly recommended, the food is amazing and the staff a really friendly.
The villa was absolutely spotless and just as beautiful as I remembered it, the new addition of a coffee maker was very much appreciated by my husband, who is a avid coffee drinker.
As mentioned by the previous review, there was building work going on at the next door villa, which was a little bit noisy at times but it wasn't constant and to be fair once we were lying by the pool we didn't really notice it.
Can't say it had any great impact on our stay, you can't predict when your neighbours are going to start renovating, we booked last year so the owners would have needed a crystal ball to imform us of the impending renovations.
Thank you Lynn and Paula for another fabulous holiday, can't wait to book up again.

The villa is situated on a large urbanisation which in itself is not a problem as few cars pass during the day. I'm sure it is generally very quiet unfortunately when we arrived we discovered that the villa next door is being extensively renovated. It is having a basement apartment built and the builders were there every weekday often from 9am to 8pm. The levels of noise were at times quite unacceptable. The pool guy told us that they had been there for a few weeks already and would most likely be there throughout the summer. This means the owner was aware of the situation and yet chose not to tell us.
In addition to this there are a few other things which led to us marking the villa as no more than average. They were;
1. There is virtually no shade outside as despite the impression given by the photos on the website, there is only one parasol despite there being three different seating areas.
2. The air conditioning unit in the living area constantly broke down requiring you to switch all the power off in the villa then switch it back on and reset the unit.
3. Reference is made in the description to the spacious roof terrace, apparently ideal for sunbathing and enjoying a drink in the evening. The reality is somewhat different. On arrival we were given a quick tour of the villa and informed that nobody really uses the roof terrace. On inspecting it for ourselves we could see why. It has been allowed to go to rack and ruin and the whole area is totally filthy, covered in dust, a combination I suspect of sand and deposits of dust from the major building work taking place next door!
On the positive side, there is plenty room for a family of four and the amenities are just a short walk away with a choice of bars and restaurants. There are at least 3 supermarkets to choose from. The beach is five minutes in the car or about 25_30 minutes by foot and a very nice beach it is too.
Overall unfortunately this was not a villa that in all good conscience we could recommend to anyone else.
Stayed at this villa in March. Was the cleanest holiday rental I have ever had the pleasure to stay. Outside space was great as there are so many sunny spots (not that our weather allowed us to take advantage). We could walk to the beach within 20 minutes and nearest supermarket within 10 mins. We opted not to hire a car but did not have a problem.
We used the heating, not the air conditioning, and was soon lovely and warm.
Paula was most helpful and friendly. Martin was also very helpful and kind.
Hope to return.
We absolutely love gran Alacant and stayed the tear before but in a different villa. We really like the location and the shops close by. This villa was so much nicer! It is very well looked after and is kept to a high standard.
There was an issue with the pool on arrival which was disappointing but the managers and the owners went out of there way to make sure it was fixed as quick as it possible could. They were all so lovely! And then it was like it never happened. The house is in a fab spot and not far from the shops and bars, restaurants.
We went on one of the tours to the waterfalls which is amazing and a lovely refreshing day out. Out tour bus lady Cathy was brilliant.
We are already booked to go back to Casa Bella next year and can't wait !!
I cannot recommend this villa enough. Fantastic managers and owners, home from home villa with a wonderful pool, eating al fresco in a great area that is super quite and not too commercialised ...what more can you ask you !
This is my second visit to the area and I would gladly go again.
These villas are situated in a lovely little area with good amenities nearby - shops and restaurants are moments away and the beach and bigger towns like alicante itself are only a few minutes drive away.
The villa iitself is perfect for four with plenty of room inside and out to share.
It is well equipped with tv and wifi when needed and a great pool ( although the pools are quite deep for children).
The contact with the owners and their local representatives was easy and hassle free.
All in all a great villa and highly recommended. I would definitely use it again myself.
