The hotel is well located in a calm area in Helsinki, just 10 minutes by tram to the city center. The room was clean, the bed was ok. The bathroom was small and the shower cabin let a lot of water go to the rest of the bathroom and it turned into a swimming pool. We let 2 towels on the floor just beside the shower cabin and it helped. The breakfast is very good, with different options of bread, ham, cheese, jam, butter, yoghurt, ja, scrambled eggs, bacon, juices, coffee and tea. The hotel personal is very kind and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask a rum on the top floor (eight floor)

Arriving with the express-airport-bus the hotel is in walking distance. We did not see the entrance of the hotel but then we received a warm welcome at the lobby! The elevators are fast. Our room was well used - a little make over is desperately needed! Can anyone clean the windows please: we hardly could look out of the window! Beds were extremly soft but clean.
One can´t use the shower without completely flooding the bathroom!
Breakfast was ok the first morning but we stayed 4 nights and the service became slower! No joghurt, no curd-cheese, no jam. The coffee....don´t expect a lot!
The Irish Pub which is part of the hotel is great - we did not find out why it was closed on sunday evening!
A lot of trams run directly in front of the hotel so it it easy to go to the city center!

Hotels in Helsinki are quite expensive. This one was more reasonably priced. The room and bathroom are fairly small, but that wasn't an issue for me even though I am a tall guy. The people at the desk were helpful with directions and advice on what buses or boats to choose. Breakfast was a combination between hot food and continental buffet. I don't get carrot yogurt or ice cream for breakfast but the bread, cheese, and pastries were amazing. My favourite of all was the sauna. Please extend the sauna hours!

The hotel is quite old, compared to other Cumulus Hotels. Very small buffet for breakfast although the hotel has 8 floors. Staff is helpful and rather friendly.
Location is quite good as there are different bus stops no 50m from the hotel in different directions and a supermarket just 3 minutes to walk.
Rooms were small but clean.

The building is somewhat old but the room was clean, bed comfortable. This is a no-frills hotel, offering good value and with a tram stop for Trams 1 and 3 outside the entrance. Tram 8 stop is just around the corner. This gives you good access to the centre of Helsinki. If you want to get to the Helsinki cathedral, senate square and harbour for Suomenlinna ferry you are advised to get off at Kaisaniemen Puisto stop and walk up Unioninkatu .(5 min walk). If your room is on the street side and you open your Windows then expect tram noise.
