Went with a colleague. It was recommended to us!
Part of the fun is finding the entrance!
Then we were greeted by a Swedish/Irish cockney waiter, and he was marvellous. Certainly cheered us up. Service was impeccable. Interior, decor and atmosphere were conducive to a Japanese style restaurant,

Small menu, but very interesting dishes. Would try them all but would run out of cash after the first round. Food was fresh and tasty. Felt slightly peckish upon leaving though..
Certainly worth a visit and a detour if you like unusual Asian/Japanese style food.

I am usually a bit sceptical to "fusion"restaurants. But this was just so good. Not too hipster rather low key and wonderful staff. Our waitress for the evening Linn made me fall in love with her. Such a darling!
The food was impeccable and amusing.
I recommend:
Flower sprouts, Fried Cowly flower, Beef slider and pork tacos!
Will visit this little gem again as soon as possible.

Went there with a collague for informal dinner.

It is slightly hard to find as the entrance is on the side of the building and only has a small indication there is a bar or restaurant inside... but that kind of added to the fun!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was interesting take on Japanese and was very tasty. The cauliflower tempura for example was lovely.

Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely evening at Shibumi. Some of our friends had recommended us this restaurant, so we came to give it a try and it was indeed a good experience. This service was excellent, the interior is very nice and the food was delicious.

We ordered 3 dishes per person - the recommended, and there was food enough to make your belly full! We had salmon tartar, beef tartar, tacos, sashimi, quail and gyoza.
The dish that we did not really like was the gyoza, but the rest was very good, specially the tartars.

We just went. It was okay, anything hot from the kitchen was warm at best. Took forever to order as they took two orders from people who sat after us. I'm a bit more critical of this place as it's supposed to be top notch and we paid as such. Nice staff, nice interior, just overrated.
