The restaurant is quite close to the centre, up a side street close to the shops.
The concept is one where no gas or electricity is used to cook the food - just wood and straw. The kitchen is open and there are seats available around the cooking area.
Despite being a Michelin star restaurant (and deservedly so) the atmosphere is relaxed and the service very friendly. Not stuffy at all.
I went for the 6 course tasting menu and my wife the 4 course plus cheese. All the food was superb. And there were a number of extra's as we went through the evening. All very fresh and tasty. It was one of those evenings when you're disappointed when it ends. A great experience and definitely recommended.
