So lucky to have been in a small group that had a private tour of the opera house. Such a splendid building inside and out. Unfortunately I didn't go to a public performance but so lucky to be at a private champagne performance by a fantastic baritone singer.
We were able to have a marvellous dinner as well.

Nice Opera House in a nice square. Just impossibile to be missed while walking around. Seen only from outside.

In my understanding The Royal Opera is Sweden's national stage for opera and ballet. Unfortunately we only had the chance to pass by it, just enough to admire its magnificent exterior built in the Renaissance style. If you have the time tough, check out at least the opera house`s restaurant, a quite expensive place, but offering an amazing view over the bay there Lake Malaren meets the Baltic sea.

We took the tour behind the scenes today and loved it.
Roy our tour guide was super friendly and funny. He had a great way to talk about things and his English is easy to understand for everyone.
The tour was very interesting and a great opportunity to learn a lot about the Operas history.

There are guided tours back stage and it's a very informative tour. I didn't watch any opera. But I assume it would've been really cool.
