Good price, tiny rooms, nothing special.
While they were very friendly to our family with young kids, this hotel seems to cater more to a younger crowd. The lobby has a bit of a nightclub feel and our room barely had enough space for us to move around in. Our older kid got a cot, but the younger had to share a twin bed with a parent.
No A/C, which would be fine most of the year but not so much during July's heat wave. It was HOT and the window did not fully open (only about 10cm). Street outside was noisy and filled with traffic. For those of you familiar with NYC this location is sort of like a mix between Times Square and St. Marks. Lots of trendy stuff nearby, but the immediate area of the hotel is crap.
The plus: staff was very nice. We requested extra pillows and they were delivered quickly. Breakfast was pretty good (though I've certainly had better Scandic breakfasts elsewhere). Hotel allowed us to store some luggage free of charge for several days which was very convenient.
Overall, this place is just fine for a short stay and likely better for younger couples or friends rather than families.More
