I was there during Christmas and New Year ’s Day with my girlfriend. 10 days.
You got both tradition and a very fine and modern design mixed. It’s a brand new hotel very well located since you are not far from the Center city, but also in an island full of museums and historical stuff. Very quiet, clean and beautiful.
There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. It’s the 65 line that can take you to Center city in Just 5 minutes. If you want to walk, It won’t take more then 15 minutes.
The sea side views worth, since you can see all ships moving in and out the city.
However the great point is the staff! From the lobby person until the cleaning people are all very friendly. I’ve been in some great hotels in different countries, but this one I can recommend 100%. No doubt.
TACK!

This is the first time I booked a hotel that actually lived up to expectations. Location was absolutely perfect. A very quiet and pittoresque location just a ten minutes walk away from the tube. A bus station is directly in front of the hotel.
Staff is friendly and helpful. We were surprised how well the standard room was designed. It was not too big, but everything was there.
Given the reviews of (most of) the other 4 or 5 star hotels in Stockholm, this one must be the best!

Great small hotel that was recommend by a friend. Stayed her with my fiancee for two nights. Location is a 5 minutte walk from the center and next to several museums. Rooms are a small but nice and well-designed. Staff are friendly and helpfull. I would say it's the best service and friendliest staff I've experienced in Scandinavia. A bathtub would have been nice, but I guess it would be too difficult to fit in considering the buildings are old army barracks and thus rooms small.

Very nice hotel on an old building. They did a very good job on restoring this building and designing the rooms. I stayed here on two different occasions, one night each. It's a bit further away than the bar/club zone so you need a taxi on winter nights but on a nice summer night it'd be a good walk to go wherever you want to go in Stockholm.
Museums are right next to the hotel, which is really nice if you are into visiting museums (visit Vasa museum). Gamla Stan (Old Town) is right across.
Hotel is really nice and clean. Beds are comfy. Very roomy for European (or Swedish) standards. Nice view of Gamla Stan...

By pure chance I found this hotel while searching online for somewhere to stay in Stockholm. Price was right and it appeared to be centrally located. Use the bus to get from the central station its only about 5 stops and less than 10minutes but remember you cant buy tickets on the bus you will have to get them from a 7eleven first. The hotel is the big long building just beside the last stop of Route 65. The reception is very clean and functional. We were checked in very quickly. Our room was in the 2nd building I suggest walking through the corridors to stay warm and dry. All the doors are operated by push pads on the wall and they swing open automatically and close behind you.

Our room was the smallest of all the options but we thought it was a good size so didn't pay for a larger one. It had a good sized bed but the duvet was far too small so we asked for a 2nd one which we got dropped up promptly by the receptionist. Nice large flat screen tv and dvd on the wall for your evenings entertainment. The bathroom was very funky with its wetroom shower and unusual sink. One hint if coming here straight from the airport the ticket for the train will cover the bus all the way to your hotel as long as you start the bus trip with in 2 hours of getting the ticket. But the day passes will not cover you for the last stage of the local trains to the airport i.e from Uppsala Vasby to airport you can get the bus for free or pay an extra charge to stay on the train.(Tip for local train not for airport express).

Rooms are not isolated from sounds from outside especially first thing in the morning. I suggest you pay for a room overlooking front of hotel.
