Spend New Year's eve and first days of 2010 in this hotel. We had a great time here!

The location of the hotel is perfect. Very quiet and yet very close to the action. The bus stops in front of the hotel and the ferry is a few steps futher. Ferry takes you to Gamla Stan ( old city) or Djurgården. Or just walk.
We had some issues at the hotel which were all professionaly solved by friendly stuff. We stayed in two different rooms. The last two nights we spent in sea view room and to my opinion seaview is really worth spending extra money. Rooms are nicely decorated and very cosy.
Breakfast though can be improved. Coffee did not taste good and bread rolls were very hard. The variation of the breakfast buffet can be improved too. 3 mornings the same bread, the same ham etc is boring. It is fine to have just a few things but then make sure it is high quality. The salmon, for exaple did not have a taste of salmon but taste of smoke and fish fat. Come on, it is Sweden so if you serve salmon make sure it is good quality. But these are just small things and we already booked another stay in this hotel for summer. So, I must say it is a great place to stay in Stockholm!!!

I was there during Christmas and New Year ’s Day with my girlfriend. 10 days.
You got both tradition and a very fine and modern design mixed. It’s a brand new hotel very well located since you are not far from the Center city, but also in an island full of museums and historical stuff. Very quiet, clean and beautiful.
There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. It’s the 65 line that can take you to Center city in Just 5 minutes. If you want to walk, It won’t take more then 15 minutes.
The sea side views worth, since you can see all ships moving in and out the city.
However the great point is the staff! From the lobby person until the cleaning people are all very friendly. I’ve been in some great hotels in different countries, but this one I can recommend 100%. No doubt.
TACK!

This is the first time I booked a hotel that actually lived up to expectations. Location was absolutely perfect. A very quiet and pittoresque location just a ten minutes walk away from the tube. A bus station is directly in front of the hotel.
Staff is friendly and helpful. We were surprised how well the standard room was designed. It was not too big, but everything was there.
Given the reviews of (most of) the other 4 or 5 star hotels in Stockholm, this one must be the best!

Great small hotel that was recommend by a friend. Stayed her with my fiancee for two nights. Location is a 5 minutte walk from the center and next to several museums. Rooms are a small but nice and well-designed. Staff are friendly and helpfull. I would say it's the best service and friendliest staff I've experienced in Scandinavia. A bathtub would have been nice, but I guess it would be too difficult to fit in considering the buildings are old army barracks and thus rooms small.

Very nice hotel on an old building. They did a very good job on restoring this building and designing the rooms. I stayed here on two different occasions, one night each. It's a bit further away than the bar/club zone so you need a taxi on winter nights but on a nice summer night it'd be a good walk to go wherever you want to go in Stockholm.
Museums are right next to the hotel, which is really nice if you are into visiting museums (visit Vasa museum). Gamla Stan (Old Town) is right across.
Hotel is really nice and clean. Beds are comfy. Very roomy for European (or Swedish) standards. Nice view of Gamla Stan...
