“A Visit to a place called Malabon”

Reviewed 4 March 2016

I just love old churches! It will bring you a feeling of going back in time and at the same time a place to talk to God.
There are construction going around the church. The plaza is being fixed so expect noise.
There are still some old houses if you look around the vicinity. I can only imagine what it would like during the Spanish era. Tree lined streets with bahay na bato and the sound of kalesa....

General Trias may be my hometown but that is not mainly the reason why i fell in love with this Church. The exterior of the building is well preserved and its facade is quite similar in the design of Santa Lucia Church in Ilocos. The interior is made of antique tiles and aged wood which concocts it's whole Spanish Colonial Flavor.
