Last night was our second experience at this incredible, truly authentic, family owned Italian restaurant. The food, the ethos, the dining experience was better than the Michelin star restaurant we experienced a few days ago.
We chose a wine paired menu in which every wine was Italian. We began with antipasti, the first one of olives, cheese, bread, and pepperoni complimented by a glass of Spumante which was followed fried fish antipasto with vegetables truly amazing and unlike any dish we have had before. The third was eggplant, tomato, and Parmesan cheese. Of course each antipasto had was complimented by a pared wine.
The pasta was equally stunning, a ravioli with mushrooms and truffles and of course a pared wine.
Our final course was Guinea fowl with vin santo and seasonable vegetables, an absolutely outstanding dish complimented by a fabulous pared wine.
Both experiences we have had this charming restaurant have ranked at the very top of our dining opportunities.
