For my first stay in Copenhagen, this hotel offered a central location and relatively good price. Some pros about the hotel:

- central location not far from Kongens Nytorv metro station and the popular shopping street of Stroget as well as the picturesque port street of Nyhavn where there are plenty of cafes along the quay and nightclubs
- good breakfast included with the price of the room

Cons about the hotel:

- internet really wasn't working when I was there and the management didn't seem too concerned about this shortcoming. It seems that most people today travel with their hand-held devices and so really don't care whether the hotel internet is working or not - which is fine if you have your hand-held and data isn't an issue
- the bed in my room sagged and made for an uncomfortable sleep
- the bathroom doesn't do anything to contain the flow of water from the shower, so the water gets all over the floor. Rather than deal with the deluge, I did three days of sponge baths. Couldn't wait to get into a real bathtub at my next destination!
- carpet in my room and hallways was old and tatty, with visible signs of dirt and wear.

I get the sense that this could be a great hotel if the management decided to remodel and put some money into fixing obvious deficiencies. I probably wouldn't stay there again, but the hotel is okay if you need to crash for a night or two, or just want a weekend in Copenhagen.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room.

My experiences with the hotel were Ok: friendly staff, basic and a bit outdated room, although I did like the spot in the city: everything (metro, stroget, nyhavn) was within walking distance. However, the breakfast was not really what I'm used to in a hotel. I do think the price/quality ratio of this hotel, concerning the location, is quite good.

Ok, to start, this is a budget hotel, so the expectations need to be aligned accordingly. Overall, does the trick. Only just. There are some good things, but it gets an overall poor because of staff and hygiene.
GOOD: location. breakfast is actually quite good. 24hr coffee available.
BAD: noise - sound proofing is existent, level of cleanliness - low, internet just about enough to check emails, staff - not very helpful. Very uncomfortable bed - slept badly every night. Really poor quality overall. You get much better deals in other budget hotels.

Room Tip: best is next to the lift, so you are not between other rooms

Really great location close to Nyhavn and the city centre. The staff were very friendly, easy-going and helpful. The room was a little small, but it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed - had a big bathroom. It was cold in the city (early March), but the room was toasty warm. With no air conditioning, I wonder if the room would get a bit too warm in summer?
WIFI was good and was free. Breakfast was good; a continental buffet, but also served sausage and scrambled egg, and a helping of danish pastry. Tea and coffee are free all day and night in the dining room - really nice to get.
Reasonably priced too - would stay there again

Room Tip: Higher floors would probably be quieter

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a good location, on the marina and only a 5 minute walk to the metro. We were checked into a double room on the second floor and after one night we asked to be moved, it was next to the stairs, lift and fire door where people were in and out all day/night. Very noisy. Thankfully the guy on reception was very friendly and helpful and moved us to the fourth floor where we had no further problems. Room was clean, of a good size and we had access to the free WiFi.
The breakfast here was served from 7am until 10am. It was always fresh foods, fruit, cereals, cold meats, yoghurts, breads, sausage and eggs. More than enough to get you to lunch time. There was also fresh apple juice, orange juice, water, tea and coffee. I must say we thought it was a great touch that the tea/coffee was available all day everyday free of charge for guests.
Overall a good hotel, people have commented on some negatives here but we couldn't find any. It is one of the cheaper hotels in the city of Copenhagen and some people need to remember that!
