I highly recommend this hotel. It is very centrally located, walking distance to all main attractions in Copenhagen. It's located in front of the city hall square (Rådhuspladsen) and the main pedestrian street (Strøget) is right there in the corner. Tip: if you take the bus from the airport instead of the train, is only a 2 min walk to the hotel (it makes a difference if you're traveling with a bigger suitcase).
Staff was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, modern, very nicely decorated and had a really good closet. Free wi-fi.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and included in the rate.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Scandic Palace hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Just got back from 4 nights at Scandic Palace. For me, location was key and this couldn't have been better. Easy walk to the train station and sites throughout Copenhagen. Walked everywhere. Staff was helpful when asked for advice or recommendations, but didn't go out of the way either.

Building is older and charming, but rooms are modern. Room was comfortable. Stayed on the inside courtyard and was quiet. The church bells weren't an issue. They stop from 12-8am. If you're that light of a sleeper, don't stay in a city. Cool late Sept weather made sleeping with the windows open very comfortable. I would have been hot there in the summer however. Bathroom is typically European small, but adequate. Good closet space, minibar and safe.

Breakfast was outstanding. Great selection. Never too crowded and always refreshed. With the expensive restaurants around, it's worth it to load up.

Booked with The Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection through Chase and received free room upgrade and voucher for hotel restaurant, which we used one night for a light dinner. Overall for comfort and convenience, it was a great place to stay to explore the city, especially since we used the train station for a few side trips.

Room tip: If you're sensitive to noise, stay on the inner courtyard. But you will still hear the bells.

We needed a convenient hotel to train station for an overnight stay. This was a good choice but we were given a room that was as far from the elavator as we could have found. The breakfast was adequate. Very limited choices for gluten free on the breakfast table

Very nice hotel and good value for money. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. There was a private party in the restaurant, but the same menu was available in the bar, and the food was excellent.

The hotel combines the old and modern nicely. The lobby, resaurant and hallways all had a very elegant, old look. Our room on the other hand was quite modern and almost luxorious. But, I do hate that bell (at the city hall). We had a direct view to it from our window, so we could not avoid hearing it all day along. Fortunately, there are some silent hours during night, but it starts pretty early in the morning again... Otherwise this hotel would get 4/5 easily (the staff is great, 5/5), but that bell...

Room tip: Reques a room from where the windows are not facing the city hall
