We were on a cruise and decided to stay in Copenhagen for a few days. Checked into the Scandia this morning. We had a few room problems like a broken couch. The hotel staff were very courteous and made it right. Great place

Stayed here twice as part of my pre and post cruise. The staff was very friendly, and went out of their way to help. It has a great location in the center of the city. The beds were too thin for us, not giving sufficient support. The shower was set up in such a way that water got all over the bathroom floor. We liked the energy efficient system were the electricity is turned off unless your key is in the slot. I wonder why more hotels in the states don't use this system. The free breakfast buffet had a large variety of items and could handle the crowds efficiently.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a better view

Dear Schechterr,

Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to give us feedback.

I am glad you had a good stay with us, and you liked our staff, the location, the breakfast and the electric card slot system.

We hope that the beds, and shower didn't take too much away from the overall stay, and we will of course look into the issues with the shower.

As for the beds, I do apologize for them being too narrow. I would recommend a King Superior Extra room for your next stay, as they have a king size bed and additional amenities in the room, like coffee and tea set, and bathrobes.

I hope you had a memorable time in Copenhagen, and that you would visit us again soon.

I wish you a great stay.

Modern high-rise hotel overlooking a lake and not far from city center. Our room had an excellent view of the lake and beyond. Complimentary breakfast buffet was outstanding. Concierge was very helpful. He recommended a great restaurant nearby. The hotel was pricey. For example, our room was $288. Martinis at the bar were $14.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the lake.

We only spent 1 night here but the staff was very accommodating. You can't beat the location. We were able to walk most places, Nyhaven,Tivoli Gardens. We arrived here after a cruise & our room was ready , a great plus.
The rooms are large. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. Had many choices for the breakfast buffet.
I had emailed the concierge ahead of time to arrange a 4 hour tour of the city. It was great. Frederick did a super job arranging it for us. The guide arrived on time & took us all over the city & surrounding suburbs . Wished we could have stayed longer.
