This is gastronomy at its best. A friend and I went one evening in March of 2017 and it was a true delight. We opted for a 6 course dinner with wine pairings - but in fact they served more, with some of the "refreshers" of their own choosing. Our valet - a tall, head-shaven fellow - was amazing. Supremely professional and with a great attitude (hence a valet, calling him a mere waiter would have been an insult). The chef/owner is a true craftsman - he really takes attention to detail and pairs his ingredients. Not everything was perfect - cooking is an experimental science, after all - but the effort was really special. The crown jewel of the meal was definitely the foie gras - they cooked it to perfection (there is a trick, which I figured out when they brought it to the table, a barely visible angular crease at the top surface - what they do is put a hot plate on top while it is in the pan so as to sear both sides simultaneously, and make sure it is not overcooked). The wine pairings were ingenious, and the riesling and the bordeaux out of the ball park amazing. I am longing to come back! (And I will :)).
