We stayed there for 3 days with the family. The rooms are large and very decent, renovated. There is a pool outside where we could enjoy snacks and beverages as well as a playroom at the basement with sauna (didn't use it) and fitness studio. The wifi signal was not that good and you need a quarter to get to the city by car.

We stayed for 7 nights in this hotel. From the begin i wasn`t sure i did the right choice . We arrived arround 10 am and we had to wait for check in about an hour and half.
But after we saw the room and the property everything was left behind. Great view from the room, clean , quiet. The food was excellent (congrats the chefs) and plenty. We had all inclusiv reservation . Is an excellent location for families with kids . the beach bar is very nice. the pool very clean . the staff was wonderful. everything we ask has the proper answer and all our needs was satisfaied. The only complain is regarding a guide with arheological sites and museums arround this area. we found them only on gps . the map from the hotel wasn`t to much helpful. Resuming everything for me and my family was perfect holiday . regards Ionescu Gatej

Room Tip: rooms from the seaside are the best

Had an unexpected stopover in Patras and found this lovely property. EXCELLENT value for the money. Property was clean, staff were helpful about area information. The breakfast was by far the most extensive and best continental inclusive meal I've ever had while traveling. The only reason I gave the hotel a 4 instead of a 5, is that the air conditioning in the room really is more like a fan and really didn't keep, the room cool. I did not bring this to the attention of the staff, as this seems to be typical in Europe, so in all fairness only a personal complaint, not at all a reflection on the property. If I could give a higher rating than a 5 on value, I certainly would!

Room Tip: Sea view room has a nice balcony

Very good experience staying at the Achaia Beach hotel. Looking at the photos, I was concerned over the age of the hotel but we were very pleased to see that recent renovations had brought the facilities to the 21 century. The all inclusive deal was good with the buffet meals being both plentiful and tasty. The views from the rooms are exceptional and the sunset beautiful. A visit to the Nafpactos castle, crossing the Rio-Antirio bridge is a must.

Suggestion to the management. Change the photo of the hotel on this page. It does not do it justice!

We stayed here for 5 nights on our way from Athens to Lefkada for a friends wedding and we were very disappointed. While the views were amazing and the surrounding cafes and restaurants great, the hotel seemed old, run-down, dirty and the food was completely inedible.

The hotel is all inclusive which I don't think works well as the food is so cheaply made, it was very bad. We ate out every day. The pool is sea-water and was filthy so we couldn't use this. The beach was full of litter and the hotel had a funny smell to it. The beds were also so hard, you may as well of been sleeping on the floor!

It was a shame as the hotel does have a lot of potential. Most of the staff we met were lovely, however there were a couple of rude people. Overall, we really wouldnt recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Sea view room with a view of Rio bridge - although I'd avoid this hotel is possible

GROUP-AIROTEL, General Manager at Airotel Achaia Beach, responded to this reviewResponded 27 October 2015

Dear Caroline_Bradley2015,

Τhank you for taking the time to share your comments with us and for your review about our hotel, I would also like to thank you for choosing Airotel Group of Hotels for your holidays.
Regarding your complaints, it is to my great surprise to read that the food did not satisfy your expectations since we accommodate guests from Greece and from a great amount of countries and we have never faced any kind of complaints about the quality, quantity or variety of our all inclusive buffet.
About the swimming pool, your stay was during a few days when a technical problem occurred to the system and gave an other colour to the water, without this meaning that it was dirty but just darker than usual. It is also to my surprise and I shall personally look into your comments concerning the cleanliness of the beach and your room although I would like to inform you about the procedures that are followed in all our hotels, all rooms and public spaces are cleaned and checked daily before the arrival of our guests to avoid this kind of incidents.
Kind regards,
Yiannis Tsoulis
