They have done serious renovation, to the inner area of the hotel. The important difference can be seen mainly in the rooms - they have changed everything .

And it worth a credit to the hotel!!
Last time I stayed it was before the renovation and now is much better.

We stayed here several times last year and returned this week. Nice room for the price and a great location close to down-town Patras. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Well equipped with WiFi, TV and innovative lighting. We'll be back.

I stayed one night in November.Heating with aircon.Decent, clean, big room (for Gr), normal buffet breakfast... Small elevator, bad, realy bad soundproof!
Hotel very nice at all.Very good spot for parking opportunity at the port (200m) ... Patra has big parking problem.Near the lively pedestrian with cafés and restaurants...

We wish to stay more than one night but the poor rain continue to follow us from Metheora monastery. Our first intention was to find a possibility to find a trip to visit some islands. In this Hotel we have been impressed by the quit, clean, very good breakfast, low price (55.00 euro/night and 7.00 for breakfast) and with very polite people. I am thinking that merit 4 star. Inside of the rooms, very good furniture, bathroom well equipped, wi-fi in and a computer in the lobby for customers ( and not like at hotel Golden-Age, in Athens), and parking in front of the hotel, free. Situated on in front of the harbor, offer a very nice view of the bay. Down stairs, the restaurant was closed, maybe cause the end of the season.

Room Tip: Ask the room with a view of the bay !

This hotel is good value as long as you get a reduced rate. It's close to the port and in the middle of all the shops etc.
The rooms are quite small but ours was very clean, including the bathroom. Like most Greek hotels, they haven't worked out how to put a hook on the wall for the shower head so you have to hold it all the time. Very annoying and so easily fixed.
We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. All spoke English reasonably well.
The beds were hard but that suited us anyway. Air conditioner worked well. Smallest tv ever seen in a hotel room. Only 1 english channel out of many - CNN and the reception was rubbish anyway.
You might want to check the safe carefully before using it - ours wasn't even bolted down to anything!
Rather average breakfast, but sufficient for hotel price.
Overall, nice place.
