Really beautiful, well equipped villa with everything you need. We stayed for 9 nights with our girls 10 and 13 and it just wasn't long enough!
We all loved the pool which has sun all day so we were often still in the pool at 8pm. You can always find a shaded area at the pool to sit in too.
The bedrooms all have air con and shutters so we all slept better than ever!
The views from the villa are stunning and it makes staying in and having a BBQ on the fantastic roof terrace a real treat.
The local area is lovely. San Stephanos has some lovely restaurants on the water front and Kerasia bay is beautiful. We hired a boat from San Stephanos which was a great way to explore the coast line.
Les and Vicky, the owners were really helpful and have made the villa a beautiful home. Definitely recommend a holiday here- we hope to return soon!
Amazing place to relax and recharge batteries before winter . We spent a week at end of Sept , the weather was perfect too .
We usually go out every night when away on holiday but here at Villa Grace we stayed in on 3 occasions as sitting looking at the spectacular scenery was just too good to miss .
The villa is very well equipped, very spacious with a fabulous roof terrace , yet very private . We swam in pool daily . So quiet & peaceful .
San Stefanos has a few restaurants & bars & was bustling but not too busy .
I can highly recommend staying at Villa Grace & the owner Les is very helpful indeed .
I booked this villa for a relaxing 'special' holiday for my partner and our kids after a difficult few months. From the time of our first contact Les the owner couldn't have been more helpful, a gentleman to deal with. The setting is marvelous, the views sublime. The property is very well equipped, better than I expected, it really is a home from home. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Grace to anyone, it's amazing.
Only two things of note in any negative sense, primarily because we are here with two young and excitable children. The swimming pool is an 'infinity' pool and there's a large drop if they plop off the edge. We told them the rules and as long as they adhere to them it's not a problem. I love the pool, and the view from the seating area down the pool to the opposite hillside is fantastic.
The other problem is entirely natural - wasps. They are everywhere in this area and a real pest. However, on going to the local supermarket (Yiannis) up the hill he suggested burning coffee grinds. To say I was sceptical is an understatement. Well, it worked a treat, they hate the smoke and leave you alone, so tonight it will be yet another terrace bbq without wasps bothering us. Top tip from Yiannis there.
Top villa, top owner and of course a top holiday. I really do hope to come again and Villa Grace is the place I'd want to stay.
Villa grace is perfectly situated a few minutes from the number one resort in Corfu, San Stefanos. Within a short drive from a dozen amazing beaches and a leisurely boat ride to a dozen more, I reachable by car you are perfectly placed to explore the best coastline on Corfu. We had 7 of us in villa grace, the rooms, facilities and pool were excellent. A truly first class holiday, villa and location.
Villa Grace was better than we hoped for -the layout of the rooms, which are all spacious, suited us perfectly - the open plan living/dining/kitchen area on the first floor gave us a great space to spend time together with fantastic views and all the facilities we needed. The bedrooms downstairs were very comfortable and there was no shortage of bathrooms. The villa was clean and nicely decorated - it felt both luxurious and homely. The pool was great even though we visited in April which is very early in the season. The water was cold when we first got in but we got used to it and really enjoyed swimming - we had sunny weather in the mid twenties apart from the last day, but loved the pool so much we even swam on that one rainy day. Our favourite activity other than swimming was horse riding at the nearby stables - ee rode along country lanes to a beautiful beach.
We bought food from the supermarket at Sinies, run by Yannis who was so friendly and helpful - we managed to lock ourselves out and he called round for help. Les, the villa owner was also extremely helpful both before and during our stay. We would love to visit again and only wished we could have stayed longer.
