Review of Ilias Taverna

this is a must visit for any one who wishes to sample a traditional hilltop village, with views all the way d0wn the valley and the rest of the island across to Albania.

The food is very good and the local wine excellent. The prices are a lot less than in the more touristy areas. This can help pay for a taxi. I strongly recommend this as a memorable experience
that will be mentioned more than once when you return home.

Very delicious food! One of the best places to eat in Corfu. The menu is not big, but the prices are not expensive, big portions and very tasty food. Also, great view. Definitely worth for coming back!

Situated in Avliotes, off the coast but close to San Stef and Sidari. The only taverna in the village offers a lovely outdoor dining area shaded by grapevines with a stunning view over the valley and mountains.
Food is typical Greek, cheap and plentiful and very tasty, good service with a smile.
Worth going for the view.

We came across this beautiful little taverna whilst driving back to Agios Stefanos one Thursday afternoon after visiting Canal d'Amour. It seemed like a little haven for a late lunch. We were blown away as we entered the vine covered exterior and saw the spectacular view across the valley. This is the Corfu so few holiday makers see. You could scarcely find a more picturesque terrace and the food and service were also delightful. The family who own and run this place provide great hospitality up here in the hills above the "new road" which now bypasses the village. We had a delightful leisurely lunch before returning to Agios Stefanos just anew lies down the road.

Tasty homemade Greek local food with a friendly staff and clean environment. The restaurant does not offer parking place for car. But not a big deal.
