We stayed for a night during the New Year's holiday. Indeed the hotel has been rennovated and the room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Room however was small and heating was via a very noisy A/C. Don't have high expectations, but still, it is not that bad as some others reported. The hotel in general is fine, the location is undoubtedly unique and the breakfast is magnificent.

Room tip: Noise probably is louder in the lower floors, this is a centrally located hotel after all.

This is not a 5-star hotel by any means. Having said that it's at the right price, right in the heart of the city. Breakfast is pretty good too, and it has free Wi-Fi. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Location: It is located in the centre of the city, near shopping areas, cafes and restaurants. Rooms: Poor sound insulation especially for those near to the stairs. Clealines is also poor and most of room's accesories are defective (busted bulbs, loose towels hooks etc.) Hot water is available all the day.
Positives are the strong WIFI signal, the Breakfast which is more than enough for the money paid and the free parking.

Room tip: Choose the rooms at the end of the corridor to avoid the noise....

Great parking.Mold on walls and bathroom. No mini bar and no tea and coffee making facilities as advertised . No credit cards taken as promised. Ice cold fried eggs every day. No clean towels or sheets. No plaster left on walls! The window in the hall was held closed by a screwdriver, just as it was two years ago.None of the staff understand English and use this to their advantage. Luckily I speak enough Greek to complain. You can do much better than this hotel. We will never stay there again. The air con was filthy and made us both feel ill. This hotel is a disgrace.

Room tip: Go elsewhere..

It's centrally located, and while the building isn't in the best condition, my room was clean, quiet, well-maintained. Fairly standard for the price. Although the staff don't speak more than a handful of words of English between them, they're polite and friendly.
The breakfast though - absolutely outstanding. Choices of cereals, cold meat, cheese, spreads, various kinds of breads and pastries, and the best part? Fresh waffles. With Nutella. And good coffee.
