Just returned from a 7 day break here for my partners 40th. It was perfect from start to finish. We upgraded to a private pool suite, the room was beautiful and the pool was great, if a little cold due to being in the shade most of the day. The decked area got plenty of sun though! The bed is the comfiest hotel bed I ever slept in. We were at the top of the hill which was very steep but golf buggies were always on hand to take us up and down.
The food was great. Always had a lot of choice but some greedy guests piled their plates meaning popular dishes like chips, calamari and pizza had a bit of a wait but this wasn't an issue for us. The drinks were good, I enjoyed the cocktail menu. We had a meal in the Asian restaurant one night and that was lovely.
The hotel organised a birthday cake for my partners birthday which was a lovely surprise for him. I also arranged for a bottle of fizz to be in the room on our first night. The staff were great and couldn't do enough to help us. There was some entertainment on. The dancing girls were great and the DJ on the Saturday was good. I liked that the hotel was quiet some nights, it was really relaxed. The no children allowed was also a massive bonus! It was bliss.
We didn't leave the hotel at all. We didn't really want to. It was nice to relax in the sun and go for a dip with food and drinks on tap. We did fancy going on the trip to Santorini through Thomas Cook but felt it was too expensive (€300 for the day for 2) so didn't bother. If we return, which I'm sure we will, we will stay for longer and actually leave the hotel to see more of the local area. The hotel had a little supermarket which was good and good value.
I'd highly recommend this hotel. It was luxurious and relaxing! The only slight negative was the toilets in the main building were a bit smelly at times but it wasn't a big issue.
