We found this treasure of a cafe on the hill of Acropolis. It is in a long line of cafés, but this one stood out because there was a really friendly and non-aggressive man who answered our questions about the menu and offered to accommodate our group of 7. They bring you chips as an appetizer and their beer on tap is brought in a large, frozen mug. We choose crepes (both sweet and savory), pizza and salad. Everything we tried was delicious!!! What we enjoyed most though was the quiet and laid back atmosphere with people chatting and playing board games that are on some of the tables. The seating is also like American patio furniture and was quite comfortable!! There was also roaming musicians who serenaded us!! The only thing to be aware of is there are peddlers who came by begging but we encountered this at many cafes in Athens. Cheers!
