We stayed in this stylish flat for 5 days while visiting Athens this May. Elias is an amazing host! His hospitality is given freely and is genuine. He truly wants to improve your experience in Athens. Definitely take him up on his offer to walk you through the neighbourhood. You’ll learn a lot about the different areas, meet some friendly locals, and get your bearings in a city that can be a bit confusing. You’ll also get to witness first-hand Elias’ passion for his community.
As for the flat itself, it is huge! There are number of original art pieces on the walls, which make it unique. The beds are comfy. We found it quiet at night. There is a washing machine, which was super handy, as we were looking a little well-worn by the time we made it to Athens. As a bonus, there is an amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace!
There are several good, affordable restaurants in the area and it is a fun neighbourhood to stroll at night. Don’t let the graffiti and street art put you off, it is a vibrant, engaged community. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the front door.
Elias lives in the building, so he is available if you have any questions. I also found his communication from the second I booked to be top-notch. This flat is good, but Elias makes it great! Thanks for a great trip!
Totally recomend this! It's was clean and nice. Five minute walk from city centre. Owner was very helpful and friendly.
