The apartment is well appointed, with all the necessary needs for self catering, as well as airconditioning.
It is close to the Acropolis, grocery stores, many reaturants/street cafes as well as the Hop-on-Hop-Off busstop.
Communication was excellent before and on arrival .and info was supplied on our arrival.
I will definately consider staying there again, when visiting Athens.
Let us not forget the home-made jam, provided by Alexia and her sister!!
Descriptions and photos were all accurate. Host was very helpful and responsive. Useful materials provided to help us find things nearby. This part of Athens has very busy nightlife and is a bit edgy / grungy - just what we wanted and very easy to get to everything.
This was a super apartment located in the centre of everything from shopping to archeology. Open the window and watch the working and relaxing world of Greek culture. The apartment was extremely well equipped and the contact and support provided was first class. No complaints here.
Gina is the ideal hostess with the perfect apartment for a stay in Athens! She was incredibly accommodating, kind, warm and responsive to our every need--both before and during our visit. Once in Athens, we had a quite wide range of needs--from watch repair, pharmacies, good department stores and wine shops. Gina's recommendations all hit the mark!
Gina's spacious and stylish apartment is located in the heart of Monastraki (walking distance from the Acropolis). Before our arrival, Gina had prepared a list of nearby restaurants, taverns, cafes, shopping areas, and supermarkets--all of which turned out to be fantastic recommendations and spots that we wouldn't have found on our own as tourists in a new city. These were far from tourist traps and her reliable tips made our visit all the more enjoyable.
The apartment's kitchen is fully equipped for any meals or drinks you'd like to enjoy or prepare while in the house. The bathroom was spacious and shower pressure was incredible--just what we needed after a hot day in the Greek sun!
The neighborhood itself is full of life--bustling with tourists and locals alike. While it can get a bit noisy in the summer nights, Gina's blackout shades and windows muted most of the noise. The apartment is conveniently located near many amazing restaurants, cafes, markets, and sites. If in Athens, we highly recommend staying with Gina!
