This lovely tavern is setted on the foot of Akropolis rock, in Plaka; I tried some Mezes and a souvlaki; it would be enough with the mezes, excellent, the souvlaki was too much, but very good; I shared some pieces of meat with the lovely cats around, and they were so happy; it was a dreaming atmosphere, time seems not to exist; the service was very slow, but the view and the quite ambiance was unique; a nice restaurant stay in the sun;
a small pad leads from here to the Acropolis; around many old houses, a lot of cats, nice flowers, limon and orange trees; the pad was only 1 m large, to climb in this picturesque village, of a past time; A man of a certain age was before his house, and sad to me: you see this bad plant, I must kill her, she kills my wall; what plant is it? a plant of cappers.

The coffee was really bad there and the service was really unfriendly.
The waiter gave us the wrong direction to the entrance of the Akropolis although the entrance was 50m next to the restaurant. So rude!!

Maybe best food which I eat in Athens (for my short stay). We had 3 startes, 3 main course and 1 dessert (gift for us for free) and everything was perfect. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, including cat :-)) Nice view to Acropolis. Perfect place for dinner with friends or for couples.

Ok. It was a perfect day and the view of the acropolis from below is a killer. But the food was poor, it's not expensive but it's a tourist trap.

Situated just below the Acropolis in an unusually calm area. Serving well cooked and rustic Greek dishes, with a an OK local wine list. Swift and friendly staff
