Very nice stadium, like the ones you see in the movies about Greek times. You can wander around the whole place and even enter the field and exercise and run around.

The stadium itself is very nice but I think you get the best experience with the audio guide... Specially coming out of the tunnel into the arena were you literally are "walking in the footsteps of athletes"... from the ancient to the new , the audio throws in some crowd cheering sounds and you definitely get into the sports mood!

Impressive marble steps and seats. Picturesque from the top. Photo of myself on top of the #1 podium! Cool entrance to underground athlete's tunnel which leads to Museum upstairs. Huge display room of past torches, posters, photos, concave mirror to light the torch, the altar to light the Olympic flame...and souvenir shop. Informative audio included with 5 Euros entrance fee.

Really enjoyed our experience, tickets were only €2,5 for students which includes an audio guide. (normal tickets are €5,-) Run on the track like a real athlete and compete which your friends.

Another must do, we only spotted this from Mount Lycabettus. Got a taxi straight there, it’s not included on the inclusive tick but is only €7 and it comes with a free audio guide. Unlike most of the historical sites in Athens it has been fully restored, and with the audio guid it really brings it all to life.
