If you have never had the privilege of eating at this glorious restaurant then you've missed out on one of Durban's finest.
Sunday lunch on a perfect day. Seated overlooking the sea not 100 metres away. We had booked a table for 12 noon but were early and chose to check on whether they were open.
A warm welcome by the owner Russel and his brigade of friendly efficient staff set the tone for a good afternoon. Menus appeared like magic and we had choices of their Special menu, standard menu and the Vegetarian menu. We opted for pasta and my wife selected the vegetarian pasta and I the Prawn pasta with mushrooms. We were not surprised at the quality of the food at all. It was great! my prawns were large, peeled and perfectly cooked to a plump tenderness. Coffee was good but slightly over processed which can be forgiven for this delicate brew.
Our verdict? We will be back, sooner than later. Well done Russell.
