My wife, two friends and myself ate dinner here about a week ago when walking the Camino Portugues and staying just 100 yards awaye at the Hotel Valenca Do Minho. The manager of the hotel recommended it to us and we were glad to find it located so near to us on the south side of town.
There weren't many people in the restaurant as it was a Sunday evening, but we ordered some drinks (beers & wine) then placed an order for our food. In the meantime, the waitress brought us a selection of cheeses, pates, olives and bread which we enjoyed as a starter.
My friends enjoyed steak with pineapple on top, served with rice and veg and my wife had a seafood rice dish (much wetter than paella) which was clearly enough for at least TWO persons! Still, she managed to eat more than half of it with the help from my friends (she didn't offer me any, I was in her bad books!)
A decent meal and reasonably priced.

Great home cooking, baby goat (cabrito) for two on Sundays is delicious. Grilled octopus also great. We went there three times as we liked food so much. Generous portions, sensible prices. Don't overdo on starters or you'll have to leave some of your main. House wine is very good (ask for bottle, not pitcher). Even when busy on weekends, they managed to deliver great food and service. We'll be back!

We called in for a drink on the way back to our hotel having eaten elsewhere, liked the look of the restaurant and decided to eat there the following night however, it is not open on Tuesday evenings. We went on the Wednesday and it was certainly worth the wait. The waitress was very friendly and even with the language barrier between us we were soon able to order and experienced some wonderful cuisine. We enjoyed it so much we returned on the last night of our business trip as well. Superb dishes and great ambience. Highly recommended.

During our 2 week trip to Portugal, dined at Iberia twice....good home cooked food, very large portions (e.g.the steak for 2 could have fed 4). Nice wine and dessert selection as well. I agree with another reviewer, don't be fooled by the exterior....nice outside dining space, an lots of table inside the comfortable dining room as well. Plenty of off street parking in the large parking lot.

The staff is speaking only Portuguese but ethe meal is fantastic. Nice prices, very good meal (fish and seafood), very good desserts.
During our visit the smell of local was strange, feels like smoked meat.
