The restaurant is part of the Porto Palacio Congress Hotel, it is dark and hard to reach but it is totally worth it! Had some of the best sushi there ever! I can only recommand the sushi plate for €25.- you get 22 sushi parts, selected by the sushiman - it's worth every cent!

Once inside this dark space, neatly appointed and unique for a sushi eatery, the decor is eye appealing and warm. The food is stellar, if you are into sushi, this is one of the finest venues in Porto. No question about that! Fresh, beautifully presented sushi, sashimi and specialty seafood rolls of all kinds make this a must try!

The best meal we had in Porto. Quite small and pricey but very tasty portions presented in an artistic way. Nice atmosphere.

Seriously - this place is underground. You descend into an authentic, atmospheric Japanese dining room via an entrance near the hotel's main entrance.

The menu - in English as well - is wide-ranging and exciting, with a range of cooked and raw food. As you would expect in Portugal, the fish is high quality and fresh.

Gyoza were silky and savoury; tempura crisp and hot; teriyaki was succulent. Sashimi was fresh and noodles de-licious. What more can we say? This was a treat.

First ever trip to Porto and early flight from Manchester had left me very hungry. Gosho was just up from my hotel on Av.da Boavista, in a subterranean basement. Don't be put off by the low level lighting, it's worth eating here. Was served toward the end of the lunch period and the service was efficient & friendly. Sushi & sashimi tasted really fresh, and was well presented. This was the set menu for 16 Euros and there was plenty to eat. Finished off with the coffee mouse/choc. ice cream combination shown in the photos- delicious. Total bill was 25 Euros with the tip - well worth it.
