The Collector's Hostel is an ideally located little gem run by Joanna and Anna, two of the friendliest hosts I've ever meet. The restored, former small hotel and family home is a charming little place interestingly decorated with family memorabilia. It's evident that Joanna and Anna really love their home which they helped restore and the city they live in. They are full of recommendations and want their guests to enjoy their stay. Joanna and Anna are gregarious and charming. I accompanied Joanna on a visit to the Saturday market to buy fresh local products and marveled at the variety of fresh fish some of which I'd never seen before. Breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Overall, the Collectors Hostel is a wonderful place to stay and it could not possibly be located more centrally.

Great stay in Collector Hostel! Joana and Anna were very kind and helpful. They gave me a lost of useful tips for visiting the city and provided all the posible comodities to make me feel at home. Breakfast was great with everything, including a fantastic fruit salad and for Easter we enjoyed also a delicious real farm egg! The room was very nice and with funny decoration. The location is just in the heart of the city, perfect for visiting Braga. A very nice place to stay!

Had a lovely stay in an old house in the middle of the old town. The whole hostel is held in a vintage style and each room has it's unic topic. I stayed in the robinson crusoe room, right next to the alice in wonderland room. The house is full of all kind of collections (like the name suggests) and has a lovely balcony with an amazing view. The owner was very very welcoming and gave me a great tour through the nightlife of the town as well as some useful informations about what to see in Braga. Have to go back there some time for sure!

Anna is a very friendly host and always anxious to serve you best. All is very new and clean. The WIFI connection is fast. Breakfast is healthy (fruit salad) and delicious incl. strong, tasty coffee. I felt to be in very good hands there and also felt like at home. The hostel and its rooms are nicely done up. It's truly a pleasant place to stay and one of the best hostels I've ever been to. Thanks a lot, Anna.

We stayed for 3 nights in a wonderful room called "saudade portuguesa". The place is very convoluted and cozy with a lot of nice details and small collections from the past to see and to discover. The two owners are very friendly and made us feel at home right at place! The gins served were excellent and the breakfast was very tasty with a great variety. The house has a lot of stories to tell and it's very recommendable to stay here for everyone who likes to feel a warm welcome and seeks inspirational places and people!

Room tip: "Alice in Wonderland" in the attic is very beautiful
