We stayed at the hotel from 26th March to 2nd April, with the Easter weekend in the middle. This did not in any way affect the service, and the Easter floral displays around the hotel were superb. A fabulous hotel, with excellent service and great staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful and varied, and available for most of the day. We were very surprised to find that we could get branded spirits from the bar, which we have never found at other all-inclusive hotels, and 'real' coffee was available too. Our room was on the 3rd floor which suited us, not too near the pool, and the view was lovely. Like a previous reviewer we found trouble with the shower door frame dripping water, but just left our bath mat down for a little longer. The only thing that worried us over the whole week was the slippery tiles around the pool area, as we saw a few slips and falls, which made us a little wary as we are both in our 60's and of course concerned about falls. Also, like other reviewers we did not find the entertainment to our taste, but this is nothing new for us, and we usually sit happily in the lounge and read and do puzzles etc. so no problem. All in all, the best all inclusive we have stayed in in 20 odd years of using this type of holiday. well done to all concerned.

Room tip: we were on third floor, with was ideal for us.

Returned from a weeks holiday in Enhotel. Spacious room with pool and sea view. The pool area was good with plenty of loungers around the pool. Attentive staff brought cold drinks which were appreciated.
The only food we ate was in the restaurant ( all inclusive). Unfortunately our holiday was ruined by both of us suffering with severe tummy bug which meant calling for a doctor. We spent 3 days in our room - not daring to venture out. The caring staff changed our sheets daily but we felt that we are reluctant to return.
Apparently many guests were also suffering and needed doctors attention. Hopefully this was a " one off" and perhaps more attention is needed for food preparation behind the scenes.
I questioned that, despite a hand gel cleanser at the restaurant entrance, at least 50% of guests ignored it. When this was questioned to a staff member we were told that it wasn't compulsory .

This was our second visit to the hotel in two years and pleased to say their high standard has been maintained in all areas.Staff, food, facilities, entertainment and rooms all just as good as before.Couple of nice touches were when the room lady saw my Wife's birthday cards obviously reported back to reception and then later we found a bottle of bubbly in the room on ice. Also as we were there over Easter mini easter eggs were left in the room.As mentioned our second visit and it wont be the last!

Room tip: if possible try for a poolside room

Having been in Madeira only 6 months ago at the Vidamar down the road, we decided to try this hotel as we had seen it from the outside and thought it looked impressive . The all inclusive deal was also very reasonable. The hotel is lovely, although smaller than expected, centred around a main swimming pool; the hotel overlooks the sea and there is access from the pool area to the seafront promenade and lido area.
We were allocated a ground floor room next to the pool which initially I wasn't keen on, however, it proved to be handy for getting drinks and snacks from the nearby bar, and had a terrace with sunloungers unlike the rooms above with balconies. The downsides being no sea view and the pool area being a little noisy in the day. The room itself was spacious and modern, with separate shower in the bathroom, but surprisingly no tea making facilities. The shower door could have done with a seal as it leaked water onto the bathroom floor, though we did have some success preventing this using a microfibre cloth. The satellite TV had numerous channels in English so we usually found something to watch in the evenings. We didn't bother with the hotel entertainment as it didn't look to our taste.
We didn't try any of the themed restaurants during our stay as we were happy with the quality and variety of the food in the main buffet restaurant. The staff were without exception very helpful and the whole dining experience very pleasant indeed. Also worth mentioning that branded spirits were served in the bar, unlike some other all inclusive hotels.
Overall a great hotel in a good location, highly recommended.

My overriding impression of this hotel is how friendly all the staff are! They are really welcoming and go out of their way to ensure you have a great holiday! When I mentioned it was my husband’s birthday, when we came back that day there was ‘fizz’ on ice waiting in our room!
There is a good choice of food with three themed restaurants, all doing very good regional food.
The hotel has a good range of facilities if you want extras such as the gym and spa as we as indoor and outdoor pools.
Our room was as advertised but the limited sea view also included a view of a car park and was over the garage door which was noisy so pick your room carefully if you have a choice!
There are plenty of sun beds and the hotel has a policy of not allowing guests to ‘put out towels ‘ on the beds then go off, having monopolised them for the day!
I would recommend this hotel and the fact that several people we met were making return visits is testament to its quality!
