My friends and I initially had mixed reviews about this apartment. The location is great--directly next to the train station yet the apartment is facing another street so you do not hear the trains coming and going. The pre-trip communication was wonderful and checking in was very quick and easy!
However the apartment is located in a building that also has medical offices and so you will have some noise and people outside in the mornings, which was semi awkward as the bedroom with the two twin beds has a window that is directly to the outdoor hallway where people come and go to the medical offices.
The apartment smelled like a musty smoke smell. We tried to open the windows and the owner tried to help by bring some air fresheners but it did not help. Luckily the rooms were fine, but the smell was bad in the living room. We loved the balcony and view, which was good since we would otherwise be sitting in our rooms as it was not possible to sit for long in the living room.
The furniture in the living room is very old. The seat gave out in one of the wicker chairs and the seat was close to giving out in another cushioned chair. The sofa reeks of some smoky smell as well.
The owner is very nice and tried his best for us to have a good stay with the complementary wine. However, this apartment is in desperate need for paint and new furniture in the living room.
